Minister Maheswar Mohanty disapproves Dhadi Darshan at Srimandir

ONI Bureau: Odisha Revenue Minister and Puri MLA Maheswar Mohanty, whose house was attacked during the Puri Bandh, has disapproved ‘Dhadi Darshan’ or ‘Queue System’ at Srimandir, saying there is no need for such an arrangement.

“The Puri Mandir has enough space for smooth darshan of devotees. Dhadi Darshan is not at all required,” he said. Maheswar Mohanty also added that the Amicus Curiae would be requested to reconsider this decision and if needed CM Naveen Patnaik would be approached to take up the matter with the Supreme Court.

While responding to the reports of PM Modi contesting Lok Sabha elections from Puri, Maheswar shrugged it off saying it won’t have any impact, as BJD’s root is very strong and common people remain with the party.
