Minor Girl’s Body Found Floating In A Well

On Monday, a body of a minor girl was found floating in a well in Rahasapari village under Raighar police limits in Nabarangpur district. The deceased identified as Shanti Rout, a 17 year old girl belonging to the village had slipped accidently into the well while taking bath.

On not returning home, family members and locals carried out a frantic search in the locality and nearby, but the search was futile. However, some locals spotted the body of the girl floating in the well and informed the family members but by then it was already past 20 hours.

On being informed, police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
