Mission Bijepur: BJP deploys 3 Senior Leaders

ONI Bureau: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up efforts for Bijepur bypoll, which will be held on February 24, 2018. While hectic activities are witnessed to select the candidate, 3 senior leaders have been assigned 3 key blocks in the constituency.

BJP’s State Unit President Basant Panda will be in charge of Barpali block. Similarly, Leader of BJP in Odisha Assembly KV Singhdeo will look after Gaisilat, while senior leader Jayanarayan Mishra will be in charge of Bijepur block.

Ranjan Patel will be in charge of poll coordination. Bypolls in Bijepur will be held on February 24 and counting will be held on February 28. The seat fell vacant after the demise of three-time Congress MLA Subal Sahu. His wife Rita Sahu has joined the BJD to become its official candidate.
