Monkey snatches 16-day-old newborn boy from Parents in Cuttack Dist

ONI Bureau: In a shocking incident a monkey reportedly snatched a 16-day-old baby from his parents and fled in the wee hours today.

Reportedly, a newborn baby boy was sleeping with his parents outside their house at Talabasta village in Banki block of Cuttack district when a monkey lifted him.

After being informed, Fire personnel launched a search operation to trace the baby. The locals are also helping to rescue the baby. The baby boy is yet to be traced.

Worth mentioning, there has been a rise in monkey menace in the region and several villagers were injured in monkey attack earlier.
