The monsoon session of the Odisha Assembly commenced on Tuesday, amidst strict compliance of COVID19 guidelines.
The Assembly will function for four hours daily and no question hour will be held.
The entire Odisha Assembly premises was sanitized a day prior to the commencement of the monsoon session.
All the staffs, MLAs and journalists covering the session were tested prior to the session.
Glass panels have been fixed to segregate the MLAs. The legislators will be sitting at least four feet apart from each other.
A total of 19 MLAs were found to be COVID-19 positive and were barred from taking part in the Assembly proceedings.
