Mysterious animal kills 14 more Sheep in Niali

Niali sheep deathInsight Bureau:  Despite the efforts of Odisha Forest Department, killing of sheep by mysterious animals continues unabated at Niali in Cuttack district.

As many as 14 more sheep killed in an attack late on Tuesday night in Niali.

Earlier on last Saturday three sheep in Gobindapada village were killed by the wild animal.

Earlier, an 18-member special team from Similipal National Park, had inspected the area to trace the killer animals.

The officials said that a pack of wolves is responsible but the department is not being able to trap or trace the animals.

Reportedly over 250 sheep have been killed in Niali and after the fresh sheep deaths leading to panic among the locals.
