Nabakalebara 2015: Naveen talks Tough, summons 4 Ministers

Chief Minister Naveen PatnaikOdisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has finally broken his silence and decided to act tough to restore the confidence of common devotees over the Nabakalebara fiasco. He summoned 4 Ministers today and expressed his resentment over the mismanagement of ‘Ghata Parivartan’ of the deities on June 15-16.

Naveen is reportedly very upset with Law Minister Arun Sahoo, but may not take any action against him till the Rath Yatra is over. Apart from Arun Sahoo, Naveen also met 3 other Ministers – Pushpendra Singhdeo (Urban Development), Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak (Health) and Pranab Prakash Das (Energy) and asked them to camp in Puri to oversee all progress related to Nabakalebara 2015.

Soon after getting a pep talk from the Chief Ministers, the Ministers went into a huddle and holding meetings with SJTA Chief Suresh Mohapatra to resolve all issues and expedite the Nabakalebara work. The CM has been under fire for maintaining silence and allowing the mess to be created.
