Nationwide Transport Strike affect Commuters across Odisha

INS Bureau:  The Nationwide transport strike announced by the All India Motor Transport Organisation crippled normal life across the states on Tuesday.

The protest is against the proposed amendments to the Indian Motor Vehicles Act as well as the continuous rise in the prices of petroleum products.

A large number of commuters were seen stranded in various places as buses, heavy vehicles, auto rickshaws, taxi cars, private-run buses and other luggage carriers remained off the roads across the state due the strike today.
