Naveen plays ‘Women Card’; announces interest-free loans for SHGs

ONI Bureau:  In a bid to make women empowered in the community and add more vigour to Mission Shakti movement, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced interest-free loans to Self Help Groups (SHG).

Attending a Mission Shakti Mahasamavesh at Talabania Sports Complex in Puri today, the Chief Minister announced Rs 25,000 assistance for block level SHGs.

While, Rs 15,000 seed money assistance will be given to every Women SHG group, Rs 3,000 rupees assistance will be provided to each SHG for their digital empowerment.
