Navratna PSU NALCO pays Final Dividend

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi, Oct 29: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India has declared a total dividend amount of Rs.451.02 crore (i.e.35% of the Paid up Capital) for the financial year 2014-15. This includes the Govt. of India’s share of Rs. 365.01 crore. It may be noted that since inception, NALCO has paid a total of Rs.5356.76 crore as dividend, including Rs.4598.99 crore as share of Govt. of India.

Out of Rs.365.01 crore payable to Govt. of India, the company has already paid Rs.260.72 crore as interim dividend during March 2015. The cheque for final dividend amounting to Rs.104.29 crore was handed over to Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Hon’ble Union Minister of Mines and Steel, Govt. of India, by Shri T.K. Chand, CMD, NALCO, in New Delhi on Thursday, in the presence of Shri Balvender Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Shri R. Sridharan, IAS, Addl. Secretary, Dr. N.K. Singh & Shri N.B. Dhal, IAS, Joint Secretaries, MoM, Shri V. Balasubramanyam, Director (Production), NALCO and other senior officials of the Ministry and the company.
