Nayagarh: One killed, 20 injured in Picnic Bus Accident

At least one person killed and 20 others injured when a picnic bus carrying students collided with a truck near Maichheli village of Odisha’s Nayagarh district in the wee hours of Monday.

The accident occurred when the ill-fated private bus Gopinath, carrying students, teachers and parents of Binapanee Coaching Centre of Bhagbanpur in Khandapada was returning from Sambalpur.

The deceased was identified as Kuni Pradhan mother of a student. The injured students have been rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
