New Rs 500 Notes to be available in Odisha by this Evening: RBI Officials

The General Manager of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Bhubaneswar, Sarada Prasanna Mohanty on Monday informed that the new Rs 500 notes will be available at the selected branches of nationalised banks in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack by today evening and will available in all parts of Odisha by tomorrow.

The new Rs 500 notes will be initially available at banks as configuration for Rs 500 notes is yet to be done in ATMs, said Prasanna Mohanty.

The RBI, Bhubaneswar has already received the new Rs 500 notes today and trying to make the new notes available across the State by Thursday.
