Niranjan Patnaik holds Organisational Team Meeting of Congress

ONI Bureau: PCC President Niranjan Patnaik, who has been working round-the-clock to galvanise Congress workers across Odisha, held an Organisational Team Meeting at Congress Bhawan in Bhubaneswar today.

Working Presidents Naba Das and Chiranjib Biswal as well AICC Secretary Shaik Mastan Vali and AICC Joint Secretary Aditya Sharma attended the meeting.

A decision was taken at the meeting to boost Odisha Jagaran Yatra across the state and ask District Presidents to reach out to the oeople at Panchayat level. They have been asked to submit a detailed plan in 4 days. The meeting agreed upon setting up of Zilla Parishad Zone committees and Booth committees in every district by December 15 and then send them to PCC Headquarters.

While addressing the PCC office-bearers, District Congress Presidents, Working Presidents and Observers, Niranjan Patnaik expressed confidence about Congress’ performance in 2019 polls in Odisha and said Congress remains the lone alternative to 18 and half years of BJD rule and 4 and half years of Modi rule which proved their anti-people credentials.

Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Narasingha Mishra expressed satisfaction over the priority given to youth power in the organisational polls. More emphasis was given at the meeting on ‘Project Shakti’ and ‘Mo Booth, Mo Gourav’. Around 101 people attended the meeting today.
