No Flood-like situation in any District: SRC Bishnupada Sethi

ONI Bureau:  Despite incessant rains, there is no threat of flood-like situation in any district,” informed Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Bishnupada Sethi today.

Sethi further informed that no flood situation in Mahanadi as less than 4.5 lakh cusec water discharged at Munduli and water level of major rivers including Baitarani has receded.

However,  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed as many as 15 gates will be opened to release the excess water from Hirakud Dam today.

Costal districts/sub districts headquarters are on alert to respond any emergency situations and assist in relief and rescue operations.
