No Power Cut in Odisha till June 30: Energy Minister

The Odisha government on Friday decided not to go for power cuts till June 30. The State Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Das said that the State government extended the ‘no power cut’ period.

To meet the shortfall, the State Government has imported around 50-60 MW power from Punjab and Delhi through Power Banking.

While the water level is 3 meters at Kolab reservoir, water level at Balimela reservoir is at 30 feet. The water level at various reservoirs is sufficient to meet the requirements for the next 15 days, the Energy Minister told the media persons.
