NTPC Director (Finance) Kulamani Biswal in CBI Net

ONI Bureau: The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against NTPC Director (Finance) Kulamani Biswal under corruption charges.

The agency has registered an FIR against Biswal for allegedly demanding 5 lakh in cash from a private company director for a foreign trip with his wife and daughter on December 8 from Bhubaneswar.

Biswal is part of the Board of Directors of NTPC, the country’s largest energy conglomerate.

Reportedly, the name of Kulamani Biswal including BGR Mining & Infra Pvt. Ltd. director Rohit Reddy Bathina and his associate Prabhat Kumar are named in the FIR as Biswal had allegedly sought the financial favours from two officials.
