Odia Army Officer Subhendu Mishra Killed in Kanpur Train Accident

An Odia Army Captain Subhendu Kumar Mishra was among 146 people killed in the tragic Indoor-Patna Express train accident at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday wee hours.

The Army Officer belongs to Sarankul of Nayagarh district. His family members are staying at Acharya Vihar in Bhubaneswar.

Subhendu got promotion to the rank of Captain at the age of 23 only for his marvellous performance in anti-terrorism operations.

According to the report, he got injury during the training and was travelling in the train from Indore to Kanpur for treatment.

Suvendu’s body reached at Biju Patnaik International Airport in the city at Monday evening and has given a guard of honour at the Satyanagar crematorium on Tuesday morning.
