Odia edition of PM Modi’s Book ‘Exam Warriors’ released in Odisha

ONI Bureau:  The Governor of Odisha Prof. Ganeshi Lal released Odia edition of ‘Exam Warriors’, a book written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The release function held today at Jaydev Bhawan was also graced by Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, Padmashree Dr. Pratibha Ray, Shilpi Guru and MP, Rajyasabha Dr. Raghunath Mahapatra, Adhyapak Biswaranjan and many other eminent personalities.  The Odia edition of the book was released by Odisha Book Emporium.

Pradhan addressing the occasion said that, it was his dream to make the book available in Odia and it should be reached to every student of Odisha. Adding to this he said, intellectual power of every odia student is the main resource of this state. This book would be very helpful for all students who are going to appear various examinations and interviews.

Governor of Odisha Ganeshi Lal in his address said that, a common student can be a superman with his strong determination and will power.

With 25 super mantras, advice to parents and teachers, and a set of useful yoga asans, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has done what perhaps no other head of a country has done — prepare students to face examinations without the accompanying stress.

Dedicated to “the youth of New India”, the book is integrated with the Narendra Modi Mobile App. The idea, according to Modi, is to create an Exam Warrior Community. “After all, it is all about sharing and growing — Exam Warriors can share their exam journeys with others and discover how others have embarked on theirs, through the app.

The first 25 chapters are mantras, starting with “Exams are like festivals — celebrate them”, a message he shared in the January 2017 Mann Ki Baat, through “Be your own anchor — celebrate your strengths” to “To cheat is to be cheap”. Interestingly, each chapter comes with an activity at the end. For instance, a chapter with a mantra titled “It’s your time — make the most of it” asks “exam warriors” to make their “own timetable” by filling up a “24-hour clock with your daily activities”.

Through this book he has asked parents to “always accept rather than expect”. He has also adviced teachers to “empower the students to pursue their interests as well as create their own opportunities. Motivate them so that they do something driven by their passion instead of seeking to become something” in his book.

But the book is about more than just preparing for exams. It emphasizes the importance of play, sleep, even travel. “India is Incredible—travel and explore says one mantra and many other valuable tips to lead a healthy life.
