Odisha +2 Arts, Commerce results to be announced by June 9

Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual +2 Arts and Commerce examinations, conducted by the Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), will be announced by June 9, said School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra on Wednesday.

“The tentative date for publication of the results is June 9. As June 9 is second Saturday, there is a problem for the purpose. We’re mulling to pre-pone the result publication to June 8, if possible,” Patra said while speaking to the media persons at the State Secretariat in Bhubaneswar today.

“The announcement of results is getting delayed due to manual entry of data”, the minister added.

Students can check their results on the websites — chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in.

As many as 2,33,978 students had appeared for the annual exam in Arts stream, while 27,447 examinees wrote the exam in Commerce stream this year. Besides, a total of 8,226 students appeared for the test in vocational education.
