Odisha Assembly adjourned till 3pm over Farmer Suicide issues

Odisha Assembly witnessed stormy session on Thursday following ruckus by Opposition BJP leaders over suspension of Bargarh Collector and Bargarh farmer suicide case.

Unable to run the House, the Speaker Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned the house till 3pm.

Reportedly, earlier today the State Assembly was adjourned for one hour till 11.30 am and again adjourned till 3 pm as the saffron party leaders demanded that the Bargarh Collector-cum-DM Anjan Kumar Manik be replaced immediately and Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy should apologise in the Assembly for making false reply regarding Bargarh famrer Khainu Bagarti’s suicide case.
