Odisha Assembly passes three Bills amid chaos on Mahanadi
The Odisha Legislative Assembly on Monday passed three Bills within 15 minutes without any debate, amid the ruckus created by opposition Congress and BJP MLAs over Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s statement on the Mahanadi issue.
The three bills were Odisha Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Bill-2015, Odisha Gram Panchayat (Amendment) Bill, 2016 and the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Act (Amendment) Bill, 2016.
