Odisha bags International Award for Rural Skill Initiatives

The State has been awarded “Best State Rural Skill Development” by Europe India Foundation for Excellence (EIFE) on 23rd May, 2016 on the occasion of Global Skill Development Meet at UNESCO Headquarters at Paris.

The recognition is for the achievement and contribution of the department for rural youth of the state and for increasing employment in the industry.

Dr. Arun Kumar Sahoo, Honorable Minister of Panchayati Raj congratulated all the officials and employees of the department and Odisha Rural Development & Marketing Society (ORMAS) for the achievement.
