Odisha BJP demands Land for Hindu Seers and Saints

Bhubaneswar, Oct 7: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Odisha unit vice-president and former MLA Pratap Sarangi has demanded the Odisha government to provide land on lease to saints and seers belong to Hindu religion for setting up religious institutions.

Addressing a press conference here, Sarangi told that the BJD government in the state was showing step-motherly attitude towards Hindu community whereas allegedly pampering other religious community. He lambasted the BJD government for allegedly insulting Puri Gobardhan Pitha Shankaracharya Nischilananada Saraswati and blamed the Naveen Patnaik government for the mismanagement of Nabakalebara and the Brahma Parivartan fiasco.
