Odisha BJP Team to visit Manamunda today

A day after the brutal assault on BJP activists by the BJD supporters at Manamunda in Boudh district, the Odisha unit of BJP will send a team of MLAs to Manamunda to speak to the party workers who were allegedly assaulted on Friday.

A team of BJP legislature party headed by KV Singhdeo will visit the spot today to take stock of the situation. The BJP delegation will also hold talks with district administration and the police, sources said.

It may be noted here that earlier on thursday, BJD MLA from Bolgarh-Begunia Prashant Jagdev led a group of BJD cadres thrashed BJP workers who were showed black flags to Ministers Sanjay Das Burma at Manamunda in Odisha’s Boudh district.
