Odisha BJP to complete Organisational Polls by November 30

Just a day after the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) held its executive body meeting to discuss about the organisational polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) followed suit and appointed a State Returning Officer (SRO) today.

The BJP has appointed Rajkishore Das as the SRO, which was announced following a meeting chaired by party’s Odisha In-charge Arun Singh in Bhubaneswar.

The party has also decided to hold the organisational polls at block and district levels in five phases. The poll process will be concluded by the end of November. The BJD had appointed former Minister Pratap Keshari Deb as its SRO.
