Odisha CACL delegates meet CPI(M) MP Sitaram Yechuri

The delegate teams of Campaign Against Child Labour (CACL), Odisha met Sitaram Yechuri, Communist Party of India (Marxist), party leader of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) on Monday in Bhubaneswar. They informed leader about their dismay over the CLPR Amendment Act recently approved by the Modi Government.

The members also submitted a charter of demand  to ban  child labour  in the age of 18 years for the well being of children and also suggested  provision for  survey  of child labours once in every  five years,  inclusion  of parents  under food security schemes,  setting up  of child labour  rescue  homes at  district level . In this delegates team CACL State convener Sudhir Sabat,  FACE state convener Sadasiv swain, CACST State convener Lalit Mishra , Social activist Ranjit Pattanayak,,  Pradipta Nayak, Tapan Padhi, D. Swaruparani, Bikram Swain and others  met Yechuri .
