Odisha cadre IPS officer YB Khurania appointed Inspector General of BSF

ONI Bureau:  Senior IPS officer YB Khurania has been appointed Inspector General (IG) of Border Security Force (BSF), said a notification issued by the state Home Department on Thursday.

A 1990 batch IPS officer of Odisha cadre, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania who is currently posted as the Additional Director General (ADG) (Provisioning), will go on a central deputation for a period of 5 years.

Khurania was earlier served as Twin City Police Commissioner.

While, Vinaytosh Mishra given additional charge as DGP (Modernisation), Asheet Kumar Panigrahi given additional charge of additional D.G. of Police, Communications till posting of a regular incumbent.
