Odisha: Chief Election Officer Releases Date For Pipili Bypoll
The Chief Election Officer, on Tuesday, announced the dates for Pipili bypoll.
Here are the details –
- As per the notification, the candidates can file the nomination for the Pipili bypoll between March 23 and March 30.
- Nominations Scrutiny on March 30.
- The candidates can withdraw their nomination by April 3
- Election- April 17 between 7am and 8pm
- Result Announcement – May 2
The Pipili seat fell vacant after the death of MLA Pradeep Maharathy on October 4, 2020.
