Odisha Chief Minister to flag off ‘Bank on Wheels’ on Sep 9

Bhubaneswar, Sep 7: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the CBS Data Management Centre, lunch the RuPay Debit Card and flag off ‘Banks on Wheels’ of Odisha State Cooperative Bank (OSCB) here on September 9. Dr. Damodara Rout Minister of Cooperation & Excise will grace the occasion as Guest of Honour, the bank informed in a release here.

OSCB has established a Core Banking Data Management Centre in the Bank premises to provide connectivity to all branches of OSCB and District Central Cooperative Banks for provide Core Banking Service (CBS).

OSCB has also become member of National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) and issued RuPay ATM Debit Cards, which are accessible in 1.88 lakh ATMs of all banks across the country.  The OSCB has also acquired 20 “Banks on Wheels” equipped with live ATM facility and full-fledged Branch for providing financial inclusion service to the farmers in the rural areas of Odisha.
