Odisha CM appoints Space Entrepreneur Susmita Mohanty as “MO SCHOOL” Chief

ONI Bureau:  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday appointed Space Entrepreneur Dr Susmita Mohanty as Chairperson of ‘Mo School’ programme with an aim to take the initiative forward.

On the occasion of Children’s Day, Odisha government has announced Mo School Campaign under which the government will distribute cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh to the best performing schools in each block across the state.

Dr Susmita who was born in Cuttack is the only entrepreneur in the world to have started space companies in three different continents and widely known today as the woman behind India’s first private space startup, Earth2Orbit [E2O].
