Odisha CM assures conservation of Kolabira Fort in Jharsuguda

ONI Bureau:  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited Jharsuguda district’s Kolabira in Western Odisha.

The CM laid foundation stones for 14 developmental projects built at an estimated cost of Rs 450.02 crores. He also inaugurated 6 projects built at an estimated cost of Rs 11.82 crores.

During his visit at Kolabira, the CM paid rich tributes to Saheed Karunakar Singh Naik on his 158 martyrdom at Kolabira’s Gond Maha Sabha organsied by Gondwana Gond Samaj and announced Rs 50 lakh for construction of Saheed Karunakar Singh Naik’s memorial.

The Chief Minister also assured that measures will be taken for conservation of Kolabira Fort.

Worth mentioning, December 22 is the martyrdom day of Kolabira Zamindar Veer Karunakar Singh Naik.
