Odisha CM flags off 92 more ‘108’ Ambulances services today

ONI Bureau: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday flagged off 92 additional ‘108’ Ambulance services across the State today.

The Government of Odisha has made a budget provision of Rs 90 crores over a period of five years for these additional ambulances with an aim to provide emergency ambulance service free of cost to the people particularly in the tribal districts.

Odisha Emergency Medical Ambulance Service (108 ambulance service) was launched in Bhubaneswar by CM Naveen Patnaik on 5th March 2013.
