Odisha CM inaugurates ‘Tribal Sports Meet-2017’

ONI Bureau:  With an aim to develop the inner talent of the tribal sports persons across Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday inaugurated the Tribal Sports Meet-2017 in Bhubaneswar.

This is the first of its kind initiative of the country inaugurated by the CM through video conferencing at the State Secretariat.

Launching the meet, Chief Minister hailed the “extraordinary” sporting potential of tribal youths and hoped they would bring laurels to the nation in future.

Reportedly, out of the 314 blocks, the sports meet is being organised across 119 tribal-dominated blocks of Odisha.
