Odisha CM launches ‘Ama Ghare LED’ Scheme

ONI Bureau:  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik on Friday inaugurated the free LED Bulb Distribution Scheme of Energy Department “Ama Ghare LED“at State Secretariat through video conferencing.

Odisha Government has decided to distribute 4 crore free LED Bulbs, 4 numbers of 9 Watt LED bulbs to each beneficiary registered under National Food Security Act (NFSA) and State Food Security Scheme (SFSS).

As many as 3.80 crore LED bulbs will be distributed to beneficiaries during PEETHA scheme camps at Gram Panchayat level across the state between January 15 and January 20.

Over 95 lakhs of households will be benefited under this scheme.
