Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Inaugurates LED Street Light System On Cuttack-Puri Bypass Road

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Wednesday, unveiled the LED streetlight lighting system at Cuttack-Puri Bypass Road. The LED street lighting, inaugurated at Saimandir Chowk, is about 12 km long from Palashuni Chowk to Lingipur Chowk on Bypass Road.

“This will reduce the cost of electricity and make the public, especially drivers and pedestrians, safer, and better lighting will reduce road accidents and reduce crime and theft,” the Chief Minister said.

With the inauguration, more than 40,000 lights have now been installed in various parts of Bhubaneswar.
