Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Launches Online Grievance Redressal Services For Farmers

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched online grievance redressal system for farmers related to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. Through this, the farmers can report water problems directly to the Department of Water Resources.

Inaugurating the event, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that farmers are the biggest beneficiaries of the Water Resources Department. So, this online service will be especially helpful in addressing the grievances of farmers and will help the department to provide more responsible and transparent services.

The Chief Minister also said that timely steps could be taken to approve the application process of the Biju Krishak Yojana. The Chief Minister also hoped that online services provided to industries, commerce and business establishments would also be particularly useful for them and that it would help in meeting the target of providing government services to the people near their homes.
