Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik meets PM Modi in New Delhi

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who has been on an official visit to New Delhi, held an one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 RCR this morning. Both leaders discussed various issues during the meeting.

The Chief Minister requested PM Modi to start bidding process for Bhedabahal ultra mega power project (UMPP) and also demanded allocation of two coal blocks to Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC).

The Odisha CM also urged the PM to increase clean environment cess funds for Odisha. In addition, he also requested for arrangement of alternate coal block for Odisha Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (OTPCL) instead of Tentuloi coal block.
