Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Takes Up Infrastructure Projects With Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Tuesday, took up various infrastructure projects with Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari virtually.

The Chief Minister proposed for an early completion of various ongoing NH infrastructure projects in the Keonjhar district. He further stated that there have been some measures proposed in the Union Budget to increase material availability for steel.

CM Patnaik also proposed a 300 Km eight-lane integrated economic corridor from Paradip to Barbil consisting six stretches. He suggested, in the interim, the option of 4-laning of these roads with service roads can also be explored. A 300 Km Digha-Satpada coastal Highways was also proposed by the Chief Minister.

The Union Minister assured all support for early start of the the Paradip-Barbil economic corridor proposal.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present in the meeting.
