Odisha CM seeks probe into replacement of Artistic Stone at Konark Sun Temple

ONI Bureau:  Worried over the news regarding replacement of artistic stone carvings at Konark Sun Temple with plain stones, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wrote a letter to Union Minister of Culture Mahesh Sharma seeking a probe into the matter.

Worth mentioning, a leading newspaper mentioned that 40% of the original artistic stone carvings of the Konark Sun Temple have been removed by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), while plain stones have been fixed instead of artistic stone.
