Odisha CM to facilitate Martyr’s Widow’s visit to Kargil War Memorial

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today assured Nivedita Mallick, widow of a martyr to allow her to pay tribute to her husband Sachhidananda Mallick by visiting the War Memorial at Drass in Jammu and Kashmir.

The State Government will provide all necessary help to Nivedita to visit the Kargil War Memorial in Jammu and Kashmir, said by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik who met him at his Secretariat chamber.

As per the assurance given to Nivedita, the Chief Minister has directed the Chief Resident Commissioner of Odisha at New Delhi to take necessary steps in this regard so that she could visit Jammu and Kashmir.

The General Administration Department has also been asked to coordinate and implement the decision.
