Odisha CM urges Suresh Prabhu to resume Air India flight from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok

ONI Bureau:  After the Air India suspended its operations from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok and from the City to Bengaluru with immediate effect from Monday, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday requested the Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu demanding immediate resumption of Air India’s flight services.

In a letter to the Union Minister, Odisha CM said, “It is a matter of serious concern that, very recently Air India has suspended the direct flight services from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok and Bhubaneswar-Bengaluru. It may recalled that, although, Bhubaneswar Airport got International tag on 30th October, 2010, the international flight from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok by Air India was flagged off only on 10th December, 2017”.

I would therefore, like to urge upon you to impress the Air India management to restore these operations forthwith, the letter said.
