Odisha Congress launches Jagaran Padayatra in Angul

The Odisha Congress led by PCC President Prasad Harichandan and many other leaders such as Lulu Mohapatra and Jayadev Jena, has begun its Jagaran Padayatra in Angul this morning. The yatra began at Dhokuta and will conclude in Bantala. On the second day, the yatra would begin from Kurundi of Dhenkanal and conclude in Manpur.

“Our goal is to awaken people of Odisha about the mismanagement & failed governance of BJD Government led by Naveen Patnaik. He has ruined the state in the last 15 years. Congress urges people to awake and understand the gravity of the situation. Only Congress Party can help the people get rid of BJD misrule. We are the only alternative,” said Odisha Congress.

Thousands of people gathered at the Padayatra, holding banners and placards. Enthusiastic cadres were seen dancing to the tunes of drumbeats. The leaders and cadres sought to highlight the alleged failure of BJD Government in Odisha and Modi Government at the centre on various issues.
