Odisha Council of Ministers approve Rs 1.06 Cr Draft Budget

A Draft Budget allocation worth Rs 1.06 crore has been approved by the Odisha Council of Minister on Wednesday for the fiscal year 2017-18 in a meeting held at the State Secretariat.

The State Budget will be tabled in the Assembly by the Finance Minister Pradip Kumar Amat on February 27.

Sources revealed that budgetary allocations have been made scheme based rather than a department based.

It is to be noted that, last year the main Annual Budget was worth Rs 94, 143 crores.
