Odisha extends free Health Services to all Govt Medical Colleges in State

ONI Bureau:  The Odisha Government on Thursday announced extension of free health services under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) to all government medical college and hospitals in the State. It will come in to force from February 1.

Irrespective of APL or BPL category, all patients will be benefited under this scheme. Besides, all patients will avail facility of the blood bank free of cost, said a statement from Chief Minister’s Office.

The State government has made an additional provision of over Rs 100 crore from its budget for this purpose, said the CMO statement.
