Odisha files GI application for ‘Odishara Rasagolla’
ONI Bureau: After a long wait finally, the Odisha Government on Friday filed the Geographical Indication (GI) application for ‘Odishara Rasagolla’.
On behalf of the Micro Medium and Small Scale Industries (MSME) Department, Odisha Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (OSIC) officials filed the GI Registry in Chennai.
With this initiative, the State Government has set off the official process of staking its claim for the spongy sweetmeat.
