Odisha finalises Action Plan for Police Modernization

Action Plan for Modernisation of Odisha Police Force finalized by the State Level Empowered Committee (SLEC).

“The finalized action plan would be submitted to both the State and Central Government for approval,” DGP Kunwar Brajesh Singh said to media person.

Chief Secretary of State Action Plan Aditya Prasad Padhi, advised the Police to make use of the equipments and keep them in good condition. The action plan emphasized on modernisation of arms, anti-terrorist and anti-maoist operation systems.

Around Rs 29 crore has been estimated for the action plan for 2016-17, IG (Modernisation) Sushant Nath said.
