Odisha food delivery boy of patia gets Coronavirus

With the rising number of cases in Odisha, the state govt has yet another reason to worry as a 36-year-old food delivery man has tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhubaneswar. This revelation has left the citizens of Mancheswar and Surya Nagar area panicked as the man has delivered items in those areas. The swab test results of the youth were announced yesterday evening, which was among the three positive cases from here.

As per sources, the youth was working for a Biriyani restaurant joint in Patia region and was often delivering food packages in Surya Nagar area. A few days ago, he caught COVID-19-like symptoms after which he called up 104 health helpline. The health officials then collected swab samples for confirmatory test, and the results were out the past evening. The youth residing in a rented settlement with his parents in Chakeisiani area under Mancheswar police borders was admitted to one of the designated hospitals there.
