Odisha Girl Mita Hansda in BSF’s Daredevils Team for R-Day Parade

ONI Bureau: There is some good news for the people who were upset with the exclusion of Odisha’s tableu at the Republic Day Parade 2018. Odia girl Mita Hansda will lead the newly-raised all-woman bikers’ contingent of Border Security Force (BSF) during the R-Day Parade.

Mita – the Daredevil Biker, who hails from Kamakhyanagar area of Dhenkanal district, is one among the 27-member BSF Women’s Daredevils Team, which will make its debut this year.

The team includes women from various combat ranks of the BSF and named as ‘Seema Bhavani’.
