58 Pharmaceutical Companies blacklisted in Odisha

The Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak has informed that around 58 pharmaceutical companies blacklisted for supplying sub-standard medicines since 2005.

Replying to a question of BJP leader Dilip Ray in state assembly, Health Minister said 133 types of medicines supplied to the Government hospitals by 168 companies were found bad qualities.

Sample tests are conducted by a laboratory before bulk purchase of medicines are made by government-run hospitals.
