Odisha Government hikes Bus fares across all categories

Bhubaneswar, Mar 10: Odisha government has hiked bus fares today across all categories following an increase in the price of diesel recently.  As per the government notification, 1 paise per kilometer has been increases in fares of ordinary and express buses. The fares of Deluxe and AC Deluxe have been increased by 2 paise per km.

According to the new rates, ordinary buses will now charge 56 paise  per km from 55 paise per km. Similarly, the fare of express buses has increased to 59 paise. And, Deluxe and AC Deluxe buses would charge 76 paise and 97 paise per km respectively.
